My name is Claire, and I’m the founder of Datera Brew.

I started noticing that caffeine was altering my nervous system. The jitters, the anxious energy, the crash — it no longer felt good in my body. I loved coffee, but I knew I needed to reduce my caffeine intake.

Still, I didn’t want to give up the ritual. The warmth. The aroma. That quiet, grounding moment before starting the day.

I began searching for alternatives — something that could offer comfort and depth without overstimulating my system. I tried matcha, chai, mushroom blends… but nothing truly replaced coffee. The flavor just wasn’t the same.

As a 10-year vegan and longtime date lover, I’ve always been obsessed with dates — their natural sweetness, their richness, their nourishing quality. When I discovered they could be used as a coffee alternative, I was intrigued.

I experimented with date coffee made from the pits, but something felt missing. So I decided to create my own version.

I began roasting whole dates — and everything changed.

The aroma. The depth. The smooth, slightly caramel-like flavor. It was comforting, full-bodied, and beautifully balanced — without the jitters.

That’s how Datera Brew was born.

And because I still enjoy traditional coffee from time to time, I also created our Dates + Coffee blend — with 50% less caffeine — for those who want a gentler, more balanced energy without the crash.

Datera Brew began as a personal need, but it has grown into something much bigger: a way to enjoy your daily ritual with balance, intention, and calm.
